Having spent more than 20 years working in financial services in London Tim decided it was time he combined his lifelong passion for nature with his creative talents and embarked on a garden design course at KLC School of Design in 2015.
graduating with Distinction from KLC in 2016, Tim went on to work at London Stone, broadening his materials and hard landscaping knowledge. During this time he set up Tim Miller Design creating computer-generated 3D visualisations and animations for many leading garden and landscape design studios including Anthony Paul and Juliet Sargeant.
In early 2018, as a Landscape Designer, Tim joined Richard Miers Garden Design (winner of the people's choice award at RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2022) subsequently leaving to concentrate his efforts on his own garden design practice.

Tim continues to bring residential, commercial and charity garden plans to life as 3D visualisations for other top and multi award-winning garden design studios including Matthew Childs, Rae Wilkinson, Pip Collier and Landform, and for organisations including RHS Chelsea and Hampton Court Flower Shows, and Bloom In The Park in Ireland. He created the first virtual garden design show for Bord Bia's Bloom during the pandemic in 2021.
In the same year Tim was awarded the Gibbs KLC alumni of the year award for his contribution to the garden design industry.
