presented at the beginning of 2023 and currently under construction, this narrow, north-facing garden is designed to make the most of a largely shady aspect. Views from the house towards the new music studio at the rear of the garden feature stepping stones leading to a specimen tree, and a contemporary dark wood pergola frames the seating area the clients had requested for the sunniest part of the garden.
Charred larch trellises and lush, architectural tree ferns with uplighters add drama and augment the garden's existing bamboo planting. Backlit groups of tall Urbis planters add further architectural interest. The steps up to the music studio's timber deck double as casual seating while the studio itself features a green seedum roof.
